Pearl Family Dentistry is now open during normal business hours, and we will begin seeing patients for
routine cleanings and exams starting June 9th. We have implemented a variety of protocols and preventive measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, so everyone who enters our office safe and healthy. When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and call us to let us know that you are here. When our team is ready to see you, we will call you to come inside so we can avoid patients gathering in our waiting room.

ARRIVAL​

Review of Covid-19 exposure screen in person.

Forehead temperatures will be taken for every patient and each patient companion (guardian, in case accompaning a child)

Use the restroom and wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds BEFORE entering treatment areas

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Our team will be utilizing different forms of protective gear to protect themselves and patients. This will be done to prevent the spread of germs from our team to you and vice versa.
TREATMENT
Patients will be provided with an antibacterial/antimicrobial rinse prior to all treatments.
UV LIGHTS
UV light technology has been proven to reduce and kill airborne viruses like the corona virus. We have installed UV lights in each treatment room that will be turned on in between appointments to disinfect the room after the room is cleaned in between patients. Any viruses that are present will be destroyed by the UV light, and the lights will be turned off while patients and staff are in the treatment room.

AIR PURIFIERS WITH HEPA FILTRATION
We have also added highly effective air filtration systems with in built UV light sterilization to each treatment room that continually clean the air throughout the day. When you walk into our practice, you may also notice a machine in our lobby that is continually disinfecting
the room, which helps ensure that the air is clean when you walk in our front door as well.
